ACHIEVEMENTS AND EXPERIENCE:
A. Establishment of the basic cultural practices for sugarcane
which is relatively a new crop in Sudan.
B. Preparation of the Sugarcane Agricultural Manual to be
followed in all Sudanese Sugar Company factories.
C. Participation in developing 4 resistant sugarcane varieties
that saved the sugar industry after an epidemic crisis
of the smut disease.
D. Agronomist accompanying IDA (International Development Agency)
Mission for the Rehabilitation of Sudan Sugar Factories.
E. Active involvement in the graduate programmes of
University of Khartoum (UK), University of Gezira and
Sudan University (SU). External examiner or Supervisor
of a number of graduate students doing research in
Sugarcane. Training undergraduates majoring in Sugar
